Knowles Island is a small island at the confluence of the Broad River and the West Branch Creek. With 93 home sites averaging 1+ acres and a total of 132 acres it is quiet and serene. Nature abounds in the wildlife and natural habitat of the island we live on. Secluded but not remote, it is accessible via a short causeway, located 3 miles off of route 462 in Jasper County outside of Ridgeland, SC.

30 minutes from Historic Beaufort, SC, 40 minutes from Hilton Head Island and Savannah, GA and 1 hour 15 minutes from Charleston, SC. Some of the amenities enjoyed by the residents are area nature trails, biking, fishing and boating via our own private community dock. Knowles Island Plantation is surrounded by waterways and marsh on all sides.

We have a Homeowners Association with a Board of Directors and an Architectural Review Board (ARB) to maintain the Bylaws and Covenants of our association.
